Penelope's personalized story

Each letter of the name Penelope creates a unique children's book

Letter P personalized book chapter:

The girl saw a pear tree
And a panda far below.
He was holding a bag
And sighing, “Oh, goodness, NO!”

“What’s wrong?” asked the girl.
The panda looked glum.
“I can’t reach the pears.
Oh, this is no fun.”

As the girl began to ponder
Just what could be done,
The letters of her name
Appeared one by one.

“We can use this ‘P’ here,”
Said the girl. “Do you see?
We can knock all those pears
Right out of the tree!”

“How PRACTICAL you are,”
Said the panda with glee.
The two ate some pears,
Then the girl went on her journey.

Letter E personalized book chapter:

The girl saw a huge elephant,
Standing amongst some trees.
He was searching the ground closely,
And digging in a pile of leaves.

“A red ruby from my headdress,
Has fallen here, you see?
And with all these leaves around
I can’t see where it might be.”

“What’s your name?” asked the elephant,
But before the girl could reply,
The letters of her name,
Flew up into the sky.

The girl tied the “E” onto a branch.
“It’s a rake!” she said with glee.
She brushed the leaves into a pile,
And found the red ruby.

“You’re so ENTHUSIASTIC!”
Said the elephant with a laugh.
The girl handed him the precious stone,
Then went on down the path.

Letter N personalized book chapter:

Down the path were three young goats
With their nanny goat nearby.
They were playing in their pen
And looking rather sly.

The young goats kicked the gate
And began to run away.
“Come back and fix this gate,” said Mum,
“Or you’ll get no tea today!”

The girl had some advice,
But before she could speak,
The letters of her name
Jumped out with a leap!

The girl scaled the fence
And jumped down with the “N”.
“Get your kids,” she told the nanny.
“I’ll use this to fix their pen.”

“You’re so NICE!” said the nanny
As she brought her kids back.
“Glad to help,” the girl said.
Continuing on down the track.

Letter E personalized book chapter:

Then the girl spotted an elk,
Rubbing his back on a tree.
“What’s wrong, Mr. Elk?
What might the problem be?”

“My fur is quite matted.
Being tangled is no fun.
I want to brush it out,
But the knots won’t come undone.”

The elk asked the girl’s name
But before she could reply
The letters of her name
Floated up into the sky.

“Let’s use this!” the girl said,
And grabbed one from the air.
“With this ‘E’ as a comb,
We can brush out your hair.”

“You’re so ENERGETIC.
Take an elk-ride for a while!”
So the girl rode on the elk,
Then left with a smile.

Letter L personalized book chapter:

Down the way stood a lion,
With a mane, but no smile.
“I can’t think what to build
With the parts in this pile.

A present for my son
Is what I want to make,
But I’m not sure which parts
That the present would take.”

“What’s your name?” asked the lion,
But before the girl could reply,
The letters of her name
Came down from the sky.

“This ‘L’ will do nicely!”
The girl said, and snatched the letter.
She built a toy scooter.
It could not have worked better.

“You’re so LIVELY!” said the lion.
“Go and play with my son.”
So the girl and cub played
Until the fun was all done.

Letter O personalized book chapter:

There beside a river
Sat an otter bride and groom,
But instead of celebrating,
The pair was filled with gloom.

“What happened?” asked the girl
And the groom looked up to say,
“Her ring fell in the river
And the current swept it away.”

“What’s your name?” asked the bride,
But before the girl could start,
The letters of her name appeared
Then began to move apart.

The girl grabbed the “O”
And said, “This ought to do!
It’s small, round and shiny
And a perfect fit for you!”

“You’re OUTSTANDING!” said the otters.
“Come to our wedding, do!”
They danced and then the girl went off
With a quick, “Good luck to you!”

Letter P personalized book chapter:

She came across a toadstool ring,
And a small elf, looking down.
The elf was staring at his feet,
And then sighed, with a frown.

“I cannot use my magic here;
My ring is incomplete.
I need but one more toadstool,
Just here, right at my feet.”

“My name is...” began the girl,
But before she could speak,
All the letters of her name,
Jumped out with a leap.

The girl snatched the letter “P”.
“We’ll plant this in the ground!”
A toadstool sprouted up,
Making the circle round.

“You’re PLAYFUL!” the elf cried happily.
“That’s all I have to say.”
They danced inside the circle,
Then the girl went on her way.

Letter E personalized book chapter:

On the trail she saw a wizard,
By a fire burning hot.
He stirred a purple potion
In a big black iron pot.

“This potion should be blue,” he said.
“This purple gives me a fright.
Because if the liquid isn’t blue,
The magic won’t be right.”

The girl began to say her name,
But before she could speak aloud,
All the letters from her name,
Went floating to the clouds.

The girl grabbed the “E” and said,
“Let’s add this to the potion.”
The liquid turned from purple
To the bright blue of the ocean!

“You’re ELECTRIC,” said the wizard.
“You have magic things inside you.”
They made potions, then the girl went on.
Her day was not yet through.
